I am so proud to start my second year as a principal and continued being a part of the Rio Colorado Eagle family! Please know that I am committed to help and make sure that your children get the best education in our school. Ms. Francisca Dickson is no longer our teacher assistant . Thanks Ms. Dickson for all your hard work at Rio. We appreciated your input and wish you the best in your new assignment.
At our first PTO meeting I will introduce our staff and welcome some new personnel. We will also talk about our learning programs for this year.
“Caught Being Good” tickets are given to students who behave and follow rules in and out of the classroom and in the cafeteria. At the end of the month prizes will be distributed among them.
We still have some yearbooks for only $5.00. If you are interested please contact the office 627-6902.
Parents it is very important that in the morning you follow instructions from the security guard for parking, and leaving your children in the designated areas. No parent is authorized to enter the employee parking to leave students at the front of the office. Thank you for making our school a safer place. In order to succeed we need your support. Attendance is very important. Send your children on time everyday.
Students need to be in uniform. All students start classes at 7:50 a.m. Kinder dismisses out at 2:00 p.m. parents and authorized person needs to be at the bus stop to pick them up. 1st - 6th grades dismisses at 2:30 p.m. In case that your children are late you must report to the office and ask for a late pass.
Every Wednesday we have early dismissal. Kinder dismisses at 12:00 noon and 1st - 6th grades at 12:30 p.m.
